Does this product have what I need?

Located in the cab of every VLS vehicle, there will be an emergency VLS contact card, which instructs all drivers on what to do in the event of a breakdown, by calling our 24hr fleet management number: 0800 389 2420

  1. Replacement Tyres & Punctures
  2. Replacement Windscreens & Glass
  3. Breakdown Assistance (request replacement vehicle if required)
  4. Short-Term Hire (8.00am – 5.00pm)
  5. Generator Breakdown Assistance

If calling in the event of burst hoses on plant etc. choose option 3 above.

To ensure no delays, you must state that the vehicle is a Vehicle Lease and Service Ltd vehicle.

What do I do if my vehicle requires tyre repairs?

I’d like to apply for a discounted parking permit, how do I go about doing this?

As Vehicle Lease and Service Ltd are listed as the registered keeper of the vehicle, we will have all the necessary documentation at our head office.

To apply for a discounted parking permit, please call us on 0844 9840 200 or e-mail customer.service@vls-ltd.com and we will organise this for you.

My tax disc is due for expiry, how do I go about renewing it?

VLS will automatically issue your new tax disc 2 weeks in advance of the expiry date.

If you are concerned that you haven’t yet received your tax disc, please get in touch by contacting 0844 9840 200 or e-mail: customer.service@vls-ltd.com detailing the registration of your vehicle.

I want to take my car abroad, who do I contact?

VLS will take care of all the documentation on your behalf. All you have to do is get in touch with detail about your trip and vehicle and we will take care of the rest.

As a VLS customer, will I ever be charged for maintenance?

At VLS we work closely with each customer in tailoring each lease agreement specific to the customer’s requirements.

Generally however our standard terms mean that all fair wear and tear and routine maintenance is included in the lease agreement. Some repairs however will be chargeable if attributable to unfair wear and tear or damage etc. Examples include damaged bodywork, sidewall damage to tyres or punctures.

What do I do about accidental damage?

Who do I do contact if my vehicle has been stolen?

Please call your company’s nominated accident management company.

If my vehicle has been subject to vandalism, who do I contact?

Please call your company’s nominated accident management company.

If I experience any vehicle defects, who do I contact?

All defects must be reported to your nominated repair centre immediately using the Defect Reporting System.

Who is my nominated repair centre?

This can be any Vehicle Lease and Service Ltd depot or depending on your location, any external repair centre.

Each repair centre will contact VLS head office for authorisation direct before any work is carried out on a vehicle.
